We opened in 2016 in a former print works on Milwaukee Avenue, with one rail, eleven items and a repair bench at the back. The idea was simple: stock the coat, the sweater and the boot we would actually buy ourselves, and be able to answer any question about them.

We buy direct from mills and small factories, mostly in Portugal, Japan and the American Midwest, and we visit the ones we can reach. Samples get worn through a full season before we order, and we only reorder what came back without complaints. We will not stock fused linings, glued soles, or anything we cannot get a spare part or a replacement zip for.

Everything we sell can be repaired here. Zips, seams, hems and re-waxing are done on the bench at the back, at cost, for as long as you own the piece. Local orders placed before 1pm go out with our own driver the same day, tracked door to door, and anything else ships free over $75.
